V\u00e4lkommen ut i odlingarna!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Odla aubergine \u2013 varf\u00f6r ska man ens? F\u00f6r att det \u00e4r en av m\u00e5nga gr\u00f6nsaker som inte \u00e4r som man tror. Vi har vant oss vid de svarta, blanka drivorna som ligger i aff\u00e4ren, men oj s\u00e5 mycket mer en aubergine kan vara. Och s\u00e5 mycket den kan anv\u00e4ndas till.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00e4nn doften av shakshuka, melanzane, moussaka och baba ganosh. Eller den enklaste favoriten d\u00e4r jag bara grillar auberginerna i skivor och v\u00e4nder i en dressing. Auberginer\u00e4tterna vi tagit till v\u00e5ra nordiska hj\u00e4rtan. Och jag lovar att egenodlad aubergine g\u00f6r dem \u00e4nnu k\u00e4rare.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Aubergine eller \u00e4ggplanta som den ocks\u00e5 kallas \u00e4r sl\u00e4kt med b\u00e5de tomat och potatis. V\u00e4xten \u00e4r inte sv\u00e5rodlad, men den gillar v\u00e4rme. Rej\u00e4lt varmt ska det vara f\u00f6r en k\u00f6kskompis som har sitt ursprung i Sydostasien och s\u00f6dra Indien. Ett kallv\u00e4xthus g\u00f6r jobbet och jag sk\u00f6rdar m\u00e4ngder. Jag har m\u00e5nga sorter, stora och sm\u00e5 i blandade f\u00e4rger. Snabbast \u00e4r de sm\u00e5 som exempelvis sorterna Patio baby och Wenta.<\/p>\n<p>Den som vill testa ska s\u00e4tta ig\u00e5ng med f\u00f6rodling pronto. V\u00e4lj fr\u00f6er fr\u00e5n svenska fr\u00f6handlare. D\u00e4r finns sorter som \u00e4r provodlade i v\u00e5rt klimat och det finns mycket att v\u00e4lja p\u00e5. Lotta Lundgren och duktiga kocken Tove Nilsson st\u00e5r f\u00f6r snacket.<\/p>\n<p>En sak den matlagande aubergineodlaren b\u00f6r t\u00e4nka p\u00e5 \u00e4r att ett recept med anvisningen 1 aubergine oftast utg\u00e5r fr\u00e5n den storlek som hittas i de flesta aff\u00e4rer. Egenodlat finns i alla m\u00f6jliga storlekar s\u00e5 h\u00e4r f\u00e5r man uppskatta p\u00e5 ett ungef\u00e4r.
