Jag st\u00e5r och tittar p\u00e5 de f\u00f6rsta sm\u00e5 gurkkarten och gl\u00e4ds. Snart \u00e4r det dags. Och redan dagen efter pockar de p\u00e5 min uppm\u00e4rksamhet. Nu, plocka oss nu! N\u00e4sta dag \u00e4r det samma sak och n\u00e4sta. Vilken kraft! H\u00e4r kommer n\u00e5gra id\u00e9er och variationer p\u00e5 slanggurka. V\u00e4lkommen in i k\u00f6ket!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jag \u00e4r en nyodlare. Fyra kolonilotter och ett f\u00f6r \u00e5ret alldeles nytt v\u00e4xthus. Hade ingen aning om vad ett v\u00e4xthus kan \u00e5stadkomma. Det v\u00e4xer med en fart och kraft jag inte ens kunnat dr\u00f6mma om.<\/p>\n<p>Tomater \u00e4r inga problem. De f\u00e5r g\u00e4rna sl\u00e5 rekord. Tomater \u00e4r l\u00e4tt att ta tillvara f\u00f6r senare konsumtion. Jag fryser, kokar s\u00e5ser och g\u00f6r ketchup. Men slanggurka \u00e4r f\u00e4rskvara. Den passar inte att stoppa i f\u00f6rr\u00e5den f\u00f6r senare anv\u00e4ndning. Att det blir s\u00e5na m\u00e4ngder. H\u00e4rligt tillbeh\u00f6r och underbar t att ge bort en nysk\u00f6rdad solvam slanggurka.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Jag har fem plantor. Ha, inte ens n\u00e4r huset fylls av alla barnen kan vi \u00e4ta i takt med produktionen. Men vi g\u00f6r v\u00e5rt b\u00e4sta. N\u00e5gon stor gurkr\u00e4tt blir det varje dag. Och en del annat sm\u00e5tt och gott. H\u00e4r har ni n\u00e5gra f\u00f6rslag:<\/p>\n<h2>Slanggurka &#8211; n\u00e5gra varianter<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Tzatziki, grekisk gurka som vi \u00e4lskar. S\u00e5 enkel och n\u00e5got alla gillar. Vanligt \u00e4r att riva gurkan, men testa att variera enkelt genom att sk\u00e4ra p\u00e5 ett annat s\u00e4tt. Konstigt nog k\u00e4nns det annorlunda fast ingredienserna \u00e4r desamma. Jag sk\u00e4r tunna skivor p\u00e5 l\u00e4ngden. Blandar grekisk yoghurt med salt och vitl\u00f6k. Sedan klickar jag den \u00f6ver gurkan som p\u00e5 bilden. Lite finstrimlad mynta p\u00e5 det. Gott!<\/li>\n<li>En annan variant \u00e4r asiatisk. Lite chilihet, frisk och aningen s\u00f6t. Skiva eller hyvla en gurka tunt. Tv\u00e5 om de \u00e4r sm\u00e5. Blanda med 1 msk vin\u00e4ger el. \u00e4ttika, 1 msk ljus soja, 1 tsk socker, \u00bd tsk sesamolja, \u00bd tsk chiliflakes. Sk\u00e4r ocks\u00e5 ner ett par salladsl\u00f6kar eller blast fr\u00e5n knippl\u00f6k.<\/li>\n<li>Picklar du r\u00f6dl\u00f6k till burgare och annat? Prova att skiva i en gurka bredvid l\u00f6ken.<\/li>\n<li>Gurkvatten. Enkelt och fr\u00e4scht till maten, efter bad, tr\u00e4ning eller att bara ha p\u00e5 lut i kylen som sval, sockerfri dryck f\u00f6r varma dagar. Hyvla eller skiva gurkbitar i vatten. En extraknorr f\u00e5r du med ett n\u00e5gra l\u00e4ttkrossade myntablad i karaffen.<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e4tt in ett litet kar med \u00f6rtsalt i v\u00e4xthuset och passa p\u00e5 att \u00e4ta direkt p\u00e5 plats. Ingenting \u00e4r egentligen godare.<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e5t gurkan bli ett innan-maten-snacks. Enkel yoghurts\u00e5s att dippa i stavar, eller n\u00e5gon god olja och lite salt. H\u00e5ller hungriga barn sysselsatta utan att de blir alldeles f\u00f6r m\u00e4tta.<\/li>\n<li>Jag brukar \u00e4ter ofta en gr\u00f6n smoothie till lunch. Recept finns inte. Jag k\u00f6r p\u00e5 k\u00e4nn, men det som beh\u00f6vs \u00e4r en riktigt bra mixer eller \u00e4nnu hellre en blender. Sedan stoppar jag i gr\u00f6na grejer, ett savoy- eller gr\u00f6nk\u00e5lsblad, en avokado, lite mangold, n\u00e5gra persiljestj\u00e4lkar, en stj\u00e4lk selleri och ibland en liten gurka. \u00c4ppelmust p\u00e5 det och s\u00e5 \u00e4r det bara att k\u00f6ra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jessikas snabbinlagda gurka skrev jag om i ett tidigare inl\u00e4gg. Massor med dill, citron och senapsfr\u00f6 i en 1-2-3-lag. Hur gott som helst till stekt str\u00f6mming, till lax, till f\u00e4rsbiffar och till mycket mer.
