Vem hade kunnat ana att en knapp handfull skulle ge en sk\u00f6rd p\u00e5 s\u00e4kert 100 kg. Pumpor i alla storlekar och f\u00e4rger. N\u00e4r jag b\u00f6rjade fatta hur mycket det skulle bli kom fr\u00e5gan: \u201dPumpa, \u00e4r det ens gott?\u201d Ja, jaja, r\u00e4tt tillagad fantastiskt god. Och enkel! V\u00e4lkommen in i k\u00f6ket!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vi har verkligen ingen pumpatradition. Bortsett d\u00e5 fr\u00e5n nykomlingen Halloween f\u00f6rst\u00e5s, men annars \u00e4r det klent med recept p\u00e5 pumpa och n\u00e4ra sl\u00e4ktingen vintersquash.<\/p>\n<p>Konstigt eftersom det \u00e4r l\u00e4ttodlade gr\u00f6nsaker, dessutom enormt anv\u00e4ndbara och fantastiskt enkla att bevara under l\u00e5ng tid. Det h\u00e4r borde vara en favorit bland gr\u00f6dorna. En lycka \u00e4r det ocks\u00e5 att f\u00f6lja utvecklingen fr\u00e5n det d\u00e4r lilla fr\u00f6et till den snabbv\u00e4xande, slingrande plantan med enorma blad och s\u00e5 frukterna med f\u00e4rg och form som f\u00e5r en att baxna. Kanske mer. Tur d\u00e5 att jag verkligen gillar pumpa . Ser den som en underskattad godbit. Den som gillar s\u00f6tpotatis ska absolut testa. Men oj vad de givit igen. S\u00e5n gl\u00e4dje, b\u00e5de i odlingarna och<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Och nu st\u00e5r jag d\u00e4r med en hel rad sk\u00f6nheter att ta hand om. Inte mig emot, h\u00e4r ska lagas. Vi startar upp med det allra enklaste, ugnrostat. Matlagning som ger stor utdelning f\u00f6r insatsen kan man s\u00e4ga. Lite olja och salt tillsammans med \u00f6rtkryddor plus rej\u00e4lt med v\u00e4rme.<\/p>\n<p>Smakerna koncentreras och pumpan som inneh\u00e5ller en del s\u00f6tma f\u00e5r en l\u00e4tt karamelliserad yta. Konsistensen blir mjuk, n\u00e4stan kr\u00e4mig och det finns absolut en viss likhet med s\u00f6tpotatis. F\u00f6rst\u00e5r ni att det h\u00e4r \u00e4r en underskattad gr\u00f6nsak!?<\/p>\n<p>Jag ska ta tag i det h\u00e4r och kommer provlaga ett antal pumpar\u00e4tter fram\u00f6ver. Det h\u00e4r m\u00e5ste utforskas! Men nu till dagens enkla recept:<\/p>\n<h2>Ugnsrostad pumpa<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 mindre pumpa, t.ex. Uchiki Kuri<\/li>\n<li>olivolja<\/li>\n<li>salt<\/li>\n<li>rosmarin, f\u00e4rsk eller torkad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Getostkr\u00e4m<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>100 gram chevre<\/li>\n<li>1 dl cr\u00e8me fraiche<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Tillbeh\u00f6r<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>pumpak\u00e4rnor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>G\u00f6r s\u00e5h\u00e4r<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>S\u00e4tt ugnen p\u00e5 225 grader. Halvera pumpan och gr\u00f6p ur k\u00e4rnorna med en sked. Sk\u00e4r den i klyftor och l\u00e4gg i form. Skalet f\u00e5r vara kvar. Det \u00e4r bara att skrapa av det mjuka k\u00f6ttet fr\u00e5n skalet n\u00e4r man \u00e4ter.<\/li>\n<li>Droppa olivolja \u00f6ver, salta och blanda. L\u00e4gg g\u00e4rna ner ett par kvistar rosmarin som g\u00f6r sig s\u00e4rskilt bra till pumpa.\u00a0 S\u00e4tt in i ugnen. R\u00e4kna med att det tar ungef\u00e4r 20 minuter. Titta p\u00e5 f\u00e4rgen och stick i pumpan f\u00f6r att se att den \u00e4r mjuk.<\/li>\n<li>Mixa chevre och cr\u00e8me fraiche till en sl\u00e4t kr\u00e4m. Servera pumpan med kr\u00e4men och ett str\u00f6ssel av pumpak\u00e4rnor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Blir det pumpa \u00f6ver s\u00e5 \u00e4r den inte alls dum att \u00e4ta vid ett senare tillf\u00e4lle. Jag mosade den p\u00e5 en skiva rostat surdegsbr\u00f6d, lade p\u00e5 en driva coleslaw och ett stekt \u00e4gg. Kanonlunch!<\/p>\n<p>Mer pumpa utlovas. Till dess allt gott!
