Absolut, inte alls sv\u00e5rt och en fantastisk k\u00e4nsla att gr\u00e4va upp de vackert orangea eller lila (!) kn\u00f6larna. Kom ig\u00e5ng genast och h\u00e4r har du n\u00e5gra tips p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen. V\u00e4lkommen ut i odlingarna! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Igen och igen \u00e5terkommer jag till min s\u00f6tpotatis. T\u00e4nker att vi ska bli en hel hop som odlar och f\u00f6r vidare, f\u00f6r inte ska vi importera det vi kan odla sj\u00e4lva!<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 gott som alla gr\u00f6nsaker har varit nyheter. B\u00e5de att \u00e4ta och att odla. Tomater ans\u00e5gs giftiga och odlades som prydnad. Potatisen blev sprit och ja, s\u00e5d\u00e4r kan man leta sig genom stora delar av en ordin\u00e4r gr\u00f6nsaksdisk. Idag vet vi precis, men alla har de varit nykomlingar.<\/p>\n<p>Och nu \u00e4r det s\u00f6tpotatisens tid. Visst har vi \u00e4tit, men f\u00e5 har sk\u00f6rdat egna och nu \u00e4r det dags.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f6tpotatis \u00e4r inte alls potatis. De \u00e4r inte ens avl\u00e4gsna sl\u00e4ktingar. Tillh\u00f6r du dem som njuter av den vackert bl\u00e5 \u201dBlomman f\u00f6r dagen\u201d s\u00e5 kan jag ber\u00e4tta att den \u00e4r en s\u00f6tpotatiskusin.<\/p>\n<p>Jag sparar en fin s\u00f6tpotatiskn\u00f6l varje sk\u00f6rd f\u00f6r att l\u00e5ta den skjuta skott fram\u00e5t n\u00e4sta v\u00e5r. Inte sv\u00e5rare \u00e4n att jag l\u00e4gger den till h\u00e4lften begravd i jord. Den brukar sj\u00e4lv tala om n\u00e4r det \u00e4r dags genom att skicka ut sm\u00e5 skott d\u00e4r den ligger p\u00e5 v\u00e4nt.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4r de gr\u00f6na skotten snabbt vuxit till sig knipsar jag av ett antal sticklingar. S\u00e5 m\u00e5nga som jag vill ha plantor. Sedan rotar jag dem i varsin kruka med plastp\u00e5sar \u00f6ver. Jag vill inte att de ska st\u00e5 f\u00f6r l\u00e4nge och stampa i liten kruka. De beh\u00f6ver utrymme. Och n\u00e4ring. Och v\u00e4rme.<\/p>\n<p>Ut f\u00e5r de komma till f\u00f6rsommaren. 10 juni \u00e4r mitt m\u00e5tt f\u00f6r garanterat frostfritt. Plantorna f\u00e5r bo skyddade i n\u00e5gon form av drivb\u00e4nk. De l\u00e5nga rankorna h\u00e5lls tillbaka n\u00e5got under sommaren. De kastar sig g\u00e4rna ut meterl\u00e5nga och blommar om de f\u00e5r chans, men jag vill ge all kraft till kn\u00f6larna och klipper av de l\u00e4ngta rymmarna. Pytsar dessutom p\u00e5 extra n\u00e4ring flera g\u00e5nger under v\u00e4xtperioden.<\/p>\n<p>Sk\u00f6rdar sent, men absolut f\u00f6re det blir risk f\u00f6r frost. Jag har plockat upp m\u00e4ngder med kn\u00f6lar som sedan trivs fint i rumstemperatur under l\u00e5ng tid innan de rostas i ugn, hamnar i gryta eller blir till stomp.<\/p>\n<p>Sticklingar f\u00f6r odling b\u00f6rjar dyka upp i olika plantskolor. Jag best\u00e4llde mina f\u00f6rsta av b\u00e5de orange och m\u00f6rkt lila s\u00f6tpotatis fr\u00e5n klostra.se. Sorten heter Erato och efter f\u00f6rsta k\u00f6pet har jag varit sj\u00e4lvf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjande p\u00e5 sticklingar. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogg.land.se\/skog-till-bord\/veckans-ravara-sotpotatis\/\">Vill du veta \u00e4nnu lite mer och f\u00e5 ett schyst recept kan du kika p\u00e5 inl\u00e4gget h\u00e4r.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ni bara m\u00e5ste prova!
